We have successfully operated Tide & Timber Sauna in Newport, but a family member's passing and a new job are taking us to the East Coast. We are no longer in operation.
Because of the move, we are selling our thoughtfully built mobile wood-fired sauna built inside a new cargo trailer with new wheels; it comfortably fits up to six adults. See our FB ad for updates on price or message us.
Construction of sauna is:
-Cedar-lined interior with cedar benches
-Durable hardwood flooring
-High-quality insulation and materials selected to minimize off-gassing
-Harvia wood-burning sauna stove
-Safety rail installed inside for added stability
-Interior and exterior lighting for safer use with up to 8 hrs of battery use
-Compact vestibule for changing and storing belongings -Space-saving barn-style rear doors, requiring less clearance (a smaller footprint) than traditional trailer doors
Electrical and Lighting System
The battery and lighting system was professionally installed by an electrician and includes:
-Two deep-cycle lithium batteries Interior and exterior lighting -
Comes with optional Solar panel, fully wired and ready to be mounted

OUR STORY
The Tide and Timber sauna experience is rooted in Finnish tradition- a practice of heat, renewal, and connection that has stood the test of time.
Both Ron and Mackenzie have a long standing relationship with saunas. Mackenzie, born in Newport, first experienced the magic of sauna as an exchange student in Finland. Years later, her husband, Ron attended two artist residencies in Finland funded by the Finlandia Foundation. As a result, both developed a deep appreciation for the benefits of the sauna.
Life has a way of calling people home. Returning to Newport to support family, Mackenzie and Ron carried with them the warmth of the sauna tradition, a gift they now want to share with their coastal community.
Whether nestled by the Pacific or in the comfort of your own backyard, their mission is simple: to bring the healing power of sauna one session at a time.
